Company History

Tartan Insurance Agency, Inc. began over twenty years ago as J.B. White & Associates in Youngstown, Ohio. At that time the emphasis was on obtaining competitive stop loss insurance for larger employers who were partially self-insured. Over the past two decades we have evolved into a full service agency offering fully-insured and self-insured health plans, along with ancillary benefits such as dental, vision and pharmacy programs and a full line of life and disability insurance products. Tartan's clients today range from individuals to companies with over a thousand employees.
